Not sure if i am missing something but i want be change gantt bar color if current date is in between bar start data and bar end date. It appears that you can access the end date but i cannot see the start date??

Apologies, it seems like I totally missed your message!
Unfortunately, you can’t change the color of a bar like this with a conditional. The gantt chart supports at this time a fixed color per data series and not individual colors:
I am not sure if it is possible to color individual bars, but I will put is on my list to explore the option!

This would be super useful to me as well! I’m looking to change bar colors based on the value of a custom field (State and Status).
