Is it possible for one person to develop an app under their own account, then transfer that app to another user. Or another way of putting it is can I import a bubble app. Thanks
I think agency accounts can do that. Its really good to have transfer option when your MVP is being sold or taken over by VC’s
Dont need an agency account, it’s under settings, then collaboration, instead of sharing access you can transfer.
For transfer you need to be on a paid plan, Hobby plans are not eligible
@melon I’ve transferred hobby plans to another account and have had one transferred to me from a dev.
Transfer technically isn’t collaborating, your give the app a different owner/admin.
Create just a test app and try to transfer to me. twilson9034@gmail.com
Got it, Yes its getting transferred to another account
Thanks for the guiding @twilson9034 . More energy for hobbyists
No problem, you almost had me opening up my apps to see if I did have on a paid plan haha.
I always try to build on base bubble or use free plugins when developing so that way I dont have a cost associated with it and no profit unless absolutely necessary.
Thanks guys, I am in the process of sourcing developers for my project and wanted to break the project down in to standalone chunks, like, Item Maintenance, Supplier Maintenance, Customer Maintenance etc etc and, have the work down, test the app, pay for it and get it transferred, so thanks for the info.
Sounds like your making a maintenance app…? Just so happens I’ve spent tens years in maintenance and also build apps, I’m actually building a maintenance app that integrates with the companies fleet tracking software.
If you need anything or would like to see the proof of concept let me know.
I would be interested inseeing your proof of concept. I am building (or wanting to build) an e-commerce omni-channel system for small businesses. I have used various software packages and non give me what I require, and I think my requirement is fairly basic. I need an ePos system for my bricks and mortar store (scan in products and print customer reciepts). Have it linked to eBay and Amazon so i can sell in store and on the marketplaces. The nearest I ever got to anything useable within a decent budget was Woocommerce and a few add-ons. There is a massive market for what I want to do, but most people in my “user” position find workarounds due to the lack of software availability. Oh and my background before working for myself 7 years ago, I was in IT (Support,Programming & Management) for 30 years.
Awesome man, I haven’t made anything that incorporates a pos but I’ve seen a guy on the forum that has and has connected it with a printer I think. I’ll share the link for what I am building later on today.
This is the one
