Beyond Building Apps: Can We Help Grow Bubble's Business Ecosystem?

Most discussions here focus on the Bubble editor, bugs, features, plugins, or technical implementation—which makes perfect sense.

But I wonder if there’s another area where the community could create value.

Many of us are founders, entrepreneurs, freelancers, agency owners, consultants, or people responsible not only for building products, but also for launching, selling, marketing, and growing them.

That made me think:

Is there something we, as a community, could do that benefits both Bubble and the businesses being built on Bubble?

Not as an official Bubble initiative, but as a community effort.

For example:

  • sharing business development strategies that worked (or didn’t)
  • discussing go-to-market approaches
  • helping founders validate ideas
  • collaborating across countries
  • creating founder-to-founder mentoring
  • exchanging marketing experiences
  • finding ways to strengthen the ecosystem around Bubble—not just the platform itself

I’m not proposing a specific project yet.

I’m simply curious whether there are other people here who enjoy thinking about the business side of things as much as the technical side. Maybe ‘those’ who are also into the business development, management, innovation and marketing, or have experience with?

Perhaps nothing comes from this.

Perhaps we discover there’s enough interest to create something useful for founders and for Bubble alike.

What do you think?

  • Would discussions like this be valuable?
  • Are there already people interested in this?
  • What would you like to see?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. This thread has two sides, Bubble business, and “our business”.

I think that’s exactly the magic of communities like this forum. We’re not limited to specific topics or approaches; the community simply exists, and we can talk about whatever we find meaningful. That’s something that really drew me in when I first discovered Bubble, and something I’ve always appreciated.

There are people here, like George, who have completely expanded the way I think about the same potential I saw in Bubble, and they create valuable content and help others very freely. There are also many others who have leaned more into whatever the hottest trend of the moment is, and I respect that too. Maybe they enjoy the content side more than the impact itself, or maybe they genuinely changed their minds about something they deeply believed in.

Regarding what you’re saying specifically, I think Bubble is an incredible technology, and I believe the world still needs much more software to solve many problems that remain unresolved.

Over the years, I’ve learned that you can generate clients and successful projects simply when someone trusts you and you know how to use a certain technology to solve a real problem or need.

Maybe I’m still a bit far from creating valuable content around this perspective, but I think it’s the direction I’d personally enjoy the most. It’s like looking at Bubble Is Global | Bubble , finding many great apps there, and then realizing that some of the top apps I’ve collaborated on, apps that are part of profitable businesses led by incredible entrepreneurs, are not even listed there.

In other words, the world is very big.

So yes, I do think conversations like this could be valuable. Bubble is not only a tool for building apps; it can also be a starting point for talking about business, distribution, trust, client relationships, and the real-world impact of software.

What’s on your mind about the same questions you asked?

we have an opt-in system in place. Some app owners choose not to be listed in public. But if you run into a bug, please let me know and we’ll make sure the app gets listed :+1:

Hello,

Thanks for sharing!

As being natural to play with “cards” person has, or “cards” that are closer to the person, same is in the entrepreneurship and business world, thus have wondered to create a forum topic to see what would come up from…

  1. business development
  2. management
  3. IT (web-site/application/shop)
  4. marketing

…skills, and different people.

There might be two approaches here, one of them would be to “use” (case) the current bubble community state, and create a product for the community; similar to templates, plugins or browser extensions, although not my “niche”, but have thought about a template to create for example, while don’t see myself going deeper that route, while another approach could be to create something “outside” of bubble, which then requires a (business) model, selling, etc.,

I guess, I was more aligned to help Bubble in the meantime, rather only on the technical (bubble) level, to find new ideas for business development (bubble level), and to see if some other ideas comes up.

Core idea (with this topic/thread) is; if there are 10 or 100 entrepreneurs, “put them in one room” while having in my the bubble technology/company and while looking forward, what would come up?

I guess, it would be like “textual” hackathon

Bubble.com vs business development/management/IT/marketing

Marketing really covers a whole lot of areas, and it really depends on where you are in your business journey.

Bubble does have something though that can help. Have you seen this feature?
