Bubble app events to iPhone alerts with Pascal's Pager

If you keep opening your Bubble app just to check whether a job finished or a new account came through, this is a way to have selected events reach your own iPhone.

Disclosure: I built Pascal’s Pager, the paid iPhone app used in this example. It takes event JSON and turns it into a readable Alert, so you don’t have to build a separate notification sentence for each event.

Here’s the setup for a fictional completed export:

  1. Create a Source in Pascal and copy its private webhook URL.
  2. Add a JSON POST call in Bubble’s API Connector and use it as a workflow action.
  3. Store the full webhook endpoint as a private/secret variable. In Bubble’s API Connector, use [pascal_url] as the URL, paste the endpoint into that parameter’s value, and check Private. This keeps the endpoint server-side instead of exposing it in the app’s client-side code.
  4. Initialise with fictional data, then call it from the workflow you want to follow.
  5. Open the received Alert and inspect the processed JSON.

This is for you as the app’s operator. It isn’t a system for sending push notifications to all your Bubble users. You still choose the events and data Bubble sends.

In the app, you can configure masking before AI processing and choose how much attention each Source gets.

Which event would you connect first: a completed job, a new paid account, or something else?

Use fictional JSON only; the website demo does not apply Source masking.
