Bubble chart won't let me use anything other than 'current point'

I’m using Bubble’s chart to display the total number of users per day, but in the ‘value expression’ I can’t put anything other than ‘current point’ where I actually want to use 'search User:count".

I have the exact same issue, I reported to Bubble and hope they will reply to me soon.

Hey @nguyenly.annie

Let me see if I can help. I’m going from memory on this.

I think you need to make sure you have some sort of aggregation on the ‘grouped by’ if you want to access more of the data. Otherwise, nothing will show up. Does that make sense?

Hi @J805

Thank you very much for your reply!
Unfortunately, I already have an aggregation when I grouped the data; yet, there are still no other options.

May I ask you to test it on your end? Does that work for you? Or is it only on some device? Or is it a premium feature (very unlikely)?

It seems that Bubble removed that feature. I found that other people used to have other options in 2020. Maybe it is a bug.

Thank you again for your Help!
Have a great day.

Sure, when I get to my computer I will check out my charts to see if mine still work. :+1:

It shouldn’t be any type of premium feature.

I will let you know.

Oh! I found a solution thanks to @devin.fraze. He showed me that we can write the expression somewhere else (for example in a text box), then right-click on the expression to copy it, and then paste it into the Expression Value field.

Ok. That probably means it’s a bug then. If it works that way, then it should work filling it out too.
