Can't use the sum operator with bubble charts

Hey there, I was following Gregory John’s very helpful video on using charts in Bubble, and it all made sense in terms of aggregation to make a cumulative chart and add up all the values on a line graph.

Unfortunately I can’t seem to use the ‘sum’ operator on the value expression.

I’ve followed all the steps but can’t seem to grab the ‘sum’ operator that he used.

Normally you should reference the data source grouping in value expression and not do a new Do a search for. Same for Label expression (First screenshot, you use Current point’s date… it will be the amount:sum)

I believe this is needed for cumulative line graph?
