Bubble Dev wanted — revenue share deal on a pool industry SaaS (real product, partially built)

Hey Bubble community,

I’m Jay, solo founder building Pool Care Genie (PCG), a three-module SaaS platform for the pool industry. I have 7+ years of hands-on experience in this industry (Leslie’s Pool Supplies, pool route owner twice, commercial accounts) and I’ve been building in Bubble for the past year. The product is real and partially built — I’m looking for a developer to be my technical co-builder on a revenue share basis.

What’s already done:

  • M3 (Pool Route Genie) — Owner dashboard, route/map page, customer management, mobile tech view, analytics page. Data model complete, demo data loaded (25 customers, 3 techs, 40 service visits). Workflows need to be wired.

  • M1 (Pool Genie) — Homeowner AI diagnostic tool, scaffolded in Bubble

  • M2 (Pool Guard) — Commercial pool compliance module, scaffolded

  • Live marketing site: poolcaregenie.com

  • Live diagnostic tool: askgeniepcg.netlify.app (Netlify, not Bubble — standalone)

  • Google Maps Extended plugin installed and configured

  • Claude AI (Haiku) integration spec written and ready

The deal:

  • 10% of gross MRR when M3 launches

  • 12% when M1 launches

  • 14% when M2 launches

  • 5% permanent maintenance rate after the 36-month term

  • No equity — revenue share only. You earn as long as PCG earns.

  • All docs ready: NDA, contract, rev share model spreadsheet

  • International candidates welcome

What I need you to be good at:

  • Wiring complex Bubble workflows end-to-end

  • API Connector plugin (Google Maps/Directions API, Claude API, Stripe)

  • Responsive layouts (new responsive engine)

  • Clear communication — you’ll be the only developer; I need a partner, not a vendor

What I need you NOT to be:

  • An agency (I’m looking for one dedicated person)

  • Someone who needs heavy direction on every step

If you’re interested, reply here or email me. I’ll walk you through the editor before any commitment, no NDA required to look, NDA required before I share workflow logic and business details.

You’re going to struggle to find anyone serious on a 10% revenue share.

When you’re finding someone to do a revenue share/equity deal, it’s actually you that needs to prove yourself + your value, not the developer you’re looking to find.

If you’re offering a 10% revenue share, you need to have a very good reason that you are the right person and the only person that can build and grow the business.

Else, why would a developer work with you for 10% share, when they could do it themselves? If their self built product is 10% as successful as yours, they’ve broken even.

You bring up a really good point and I struggled with the same thought before I even put myself out there. I’ve found that not everyone is in the same boat as you and I and that this model does pull in a lot of qualified talent. Some people get it and some people don’t.

Thanks for the comment though…

Jay

You’re exactly right
