Bubble Developer Mode - Redesign in progress?

Hi all. The homepage of bubble shows some modern design for the development mode (see pictures below). However, I have never seen this version of the designer (even if I had the most expensive plan at some point sometime). Am I missing anything? Or is there a big redesign coming? Isn’t it weird to have the same development mode design for years for a company that has been backed by many investors and is believed to change the software development industry?

Been in progress since like 2021, they released images a while ago that looked pretty similar to what is on their homepage. I believe they refocused on performance over design. I may be wrong but I’ve personally not seen anything concerning the redesign as of late.

Another big topic of internal conversation this month was the editor redesign project we’ve been working on. As those of you who’ve been following these updates are probably aware, the timeline for completing this project has stretched considerably, to say the least. The project started as a simple re-skin of the editor to make the appearance more modern; it expanded in scope to include a significant technical overhaul of how the editor is built behind the scenes, as well as a number of UX modifications. In essence, it became almost a complete rebuild of the editor, which we’ve been working on in parallel to maintaining the current editor.

Yeap … they announced at some point in time way back that performance and speed would take over.
