Anyone on a Professional and Production plan can opt into the “scheduled release” tier. My app experienced zero issues today and I’ve got plenty of paying customers who would be livid with a major outage. I suspect having my app on the scheduled release tier helped me sidestep this issue today.
All that said, I agree that huge outages like this due to faulty code being released is frustrating for everyone.
