Hi. New to bubble here. I’m looking to build a mobile app. I read somewhere that it is recommended to build a web app then wrap into a container for deployment to App Store/ Play store? Is this true or should I just go straight into building a mobile app only? Thanks for any helpful responses!

With the new Bubble.io mobile editor you can build your mobile app so we’ll and have it deployed to app store/play store.

@monetsilerio wrappers typically are faster to create but suffer from UX gaps (the app doesn’t feel like a mobile app) and depending on the wrapper, you might lose access to native features on the phone.
I recommend you give the mobile editor a go and see if it fits your needs. The mobile team releases new functionality for the editor all the time so you can also expect improvements there like deep linking and more plugin support for custom functionality

I’d recommend starting with the mobile app unless there is functionality you absolutely cannot do with the mobile editor. The performance improvement/ux experience with bubble’s mobile product is just too good to pass up!
