Hey! Just wonder if anybody has an advice about which computer should I buy.
I was using a Macbook PRO 2015 until now, and It was really slow, but did the trick. I even use it for some video editing, althouhgt It was collapsing every hour haha
I wonder if bubble is really a task that requires a good computer Or any macbook would work
I have found a Macbook AIR 2020 8GB RAM for 700e. Is that worth?
Any advice or recomendation would be more than welcome!

I think it depends, if you have a huge app I’ve seen forum threads of people running into issues with the editor crashing.
The Bubble editor consumes a lot of memory (RAM)
16GB of RAM is the minimum I suggest nowadays and I am starting to move towards 32GB of RAM. I currently have more than that and there are times I wish I spent just a bit more for the upgrade.

I just got an M4 Pro 48 GB Macbook Pro. It isn’t a silver bullet for Bubble editor performance.

Look for refurbished M1/M2 macbook Airs… you can get them for 500 euros…
This one for 700, It has M1. Its expensive for being second hand, right? At least has 1 year guarantee, its from a shop not online.
I saw some options of buying new ones too
I’ve seen cheaper in BackMarket, Refurbed… (Im in Berlin) but not sure If I could take the risk of buying online second hand and then having problems with it. There are terrible reviews everywhere and people waiting for refunds for months…
The cheaper the better for me. I’m not planning on building HUGE apps on bubble, at least now, but who knows.
