Can I use a single domain for a WordPress landing page and a Bubble app?

Hello everyone,

I’m facing a challenge with my domain setup and would appreciate some guidance from this community.

I have a landing page built with WordPress hosted on Hostinger. The domain is www.projetolar.com.br.

My team has developed the rest of our application using Bubble.

The development team informed me that I cannot use the same domain for the Bubble app and that I would need to acquire a second, separate domain. This is a major concern for me due to the potential negative impact on my SEO strategy.

My goal is to have the entire site on a single domain to consolidate SEO efforts.

Is it true that I need two different domains?

  • Is this a limitation of the Bubble platform or the hosting provider?

  • Is it possible to use a reverse proxy or a similar solution to achieve this? For example, I would like to keep the WordPress landing page at www.projetolar.com.br and have the Bubble app accessible at a subdirectory like www.projetolar.com.br/app.

Any insights or recommendations on how to configure this would be extremely helpful.

You can use a subdomain of your main like app.domain.com

You could have a redirect to uour Bubble app in your wordpress for /app

This way | will have SEO problems. It should be domain.com/app. Is it possible?

No because this is the same domain. You can have a redirect on the domain.com/app

I don’t think using app.domain.com will really affect your seo that should be set mostly on your landing page in wordpress.
