i noticed that the collapse when hidden option in layout tab of repeating group elements appear and sometimes disappear, this also happens in other elements such as multiline input and group elements. i tried changing settings if it has something to do with it but its not, it just randomly appear and disappear.
i need this collapse option but now its no longer there, its there awhile ago.
do i miss something.

Hi there, @rggaas… what you are missing is the fact that the collapse setting will not appear if an element’s parent container’s type is set to fixed. You can see exactly what I am talking about in your second screenshot. It is telling you that the parent container type is fixed. If you change the parent container’s type to anything other than fixed, the collapse setting will appear.

The difference I see here is the parent container being aligned to column in the former and fixed in the latter…maybe that’s the problem
