Custom dropdown with change status

Hi,

Is it possible to create drop downs with :

different background colors
add a new option
change status of a ’ lead’
A. from active to closed won or closed lost
B. Contacted/ qualified/ email sent/ call again, etc

I am building a crm and would want to create a UI as in the pics attached.
