Delete an uploaded file not working

I have tried on several occasions and on different apps to “delete an uploaded file” but it doesn’t work. The datatype i have set is of type File and it’s a list. I see other people have had similar experience in the past. My question is if it doesn’t work why does bubble still leave in there? If it does work then users should be informed or educated on how to use it citing different scenarios because this is a recurring problem. What’s the solution.

I have tried with both parents group’s file and Parent’s group’s file URL. Looks like it’s running but then nothing happens.

Did you inspect the Parent Group’s file to make sure it’s there and not empty?

It’s in the same repeating group that is displaying the uploaded file i’m trying to delete so i guess it is.

What is the name of the “field name” field, for this type of field file? This should be used instead of URL.

Ex: - Delete an uploaded file = Parent group’s file’s fieldname
