Did Bubble choose Material Icons Deprecated?

I’m trying to find icons for material icons. I’m looking at the website to search for some specific icons. What I am seeing is that what is listed on the site is not actually available in Bubble.

As far as I can tell Bubble decided to implement the Deprecated Material Icons instead of Material Symbols New…despite having added this feature within the past month.

@nick.carroll could you confirm if this is the case so that it is easier to ensure we search the correct set of icons?

Correct, we are using the “deprecated” version, Material Icons, not Material Symbols. Material Symbols are loaded in a different way than Material Icons and the other icon libraries so we did not include it in the initial batch.

However, this would be a prime candidate for an expansion or for when users can upload custom icon libraries!

Obviously it’s not a native thing, which would be nice but you can use a (free) Material symbols plugin
