Dropdown Placeholder with Dynamic Options

Hi. I have a dynamic list of options for 2 Dropdowns. I used “Color” and “Size”. as the Placeholders:

The options are populating perfectly:

However, the Placeholders do not default back to “Color” and “Size” when I choose the blank option. I tried creating a conditional to take care of this with no luck:

Does anyone have any ideas? Here are the specifications for the Appearance of the Dropdown:

Reset the input when it’s changed and value is empty:
