Extra space causing horizontal scroll on repeating group (only on mobile)

The same problem is described here but there is no solution: Stop Horizontal Scrolling with Repeating Group?

I think there is a bug on repeating group, specifically on mobile. The RG has extra space to the right of it and the user, with their fingers, can scroll it right to left. It does not happen on computer/chrome inspector/iPhone:

things I have tried:

  • I have placed the RG on a separate page - same issue
    -I have moved it outside the group container its in - same issue
    -I have checked every element inside of it and none of them are too wide, fixed width, or fitting width to content
