Get search input to scroll to record in repeating group

I have a input box and a button at the top of the screen and a repeating group below. Is it possible to have the search scroll to a particular record in the repeating group? If so, how?

I think you are using the searchbox element… In it, it wants a list of choices; however, api is not in the dropdown to select under dynamic choices… ?

If I use a regular text input box, and go to scroll to entry on repeating group, and choose the text input value on ‘entry to scroll to’, it says entry to scroll to should be api call; however, that is not an option in choices?
