While I can’t answer your question, I have another approach that would enable you to side step this:
One option would be to connect directly to LinkedIn’s API, which will give you access to the full set of data and will remove your dependency on this particular plugin. Doesn’t take much time at all to set up once you’re accustomed to working with APIs in Bubble.
Ah, good suggestion @sridharan.s. You’re referring to the API Connector from Bubble, right?
There’s also a video where @neerja walks u thru setting up connection to LinkedIn via the API Connector. Go check that out.
Thanks @keith, I think I found the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXsL4FjAhd8), however she’s using the LinkedIn 1.0 documentation.
Most everything seems fine, except the “user profile endpoint” input, which @neerja shows as being : https://api.linkedin.com/v1/people/~
In the new 2.0 documentation for the LinkedIn API I can’t find the new input that should be there.
Hi, I started to try to use the api connector but didn’t get far because I’m now waiting on LinkedIn to approve my ‘product request’. Do you know how long this usually takes?
Did you find what to put in user profile endpoint? - maybe just v2 as per this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/shared/api-guide/concepts/methods?context=linkedin/context
I’d recommend you go into the developer suite for LinkedIn. I believe access is immediate.
The other thing that could be going on is, if my memory serves me correctly, it could be a holdup on the Bubble side and you’d need to view the page on Bubble and go through the sign-in with LinkedIn to initiate the handshake from Bubble.
It looks like users are still running into issues following LinkedIn API changes and the plugin update. We will test further and update this thread with new instructions.
Please do. I’ve wasted my whole day trying to set up the API Connector and I’ll have to disable LinkedIn sign up on my site. The new LinkedIn process does not match your webinar from November 2018 and I’m entirely lost.

Hi everyone,
I have posted the required API configurations to obtain the LinkedIn email address here: How to create a sign-in via LinkedIn and collect the primary email address on Bubble | by Shenal Harakh | Nov, 2022 | Medium
Let me know how you go!
Hello, I’m trying to use your method but it’s giving an error
Hi - do you mind DMing or posting a screenshot of your API settings? Redact any personal info such as keys.
sometimes it doesn’t show any error message but it also doesn’t show that the token worked.
Did you create a workflow which calls on the API? Did you run the workflow? It should let you know the result.
Yes I ran the workflow, does not show any results
DM’d you!
Were you able to resolve this error? I’m facing the same.
@shenalyo Appreciate any help in resolving this
