This is my company’s Google Adsense dashboard. We made $40 from ads over ~10 months. As you can see, our views/pay ratio doesn’t seem right.
90% of our views are in the US. We are a C2C marketplace. Traffic comes from users that are shopping. 50% of our users are on desktops, where 75% of the ads are shown. 50% of mobile users still see ads, but they only see about 25% of them. On desktop, he has ads running all the way down the feed (left and right sides). On mobile, we have ads within the feed (fewer ads than on desktop).
I think Google pays by clicks rather than views, but the numbers still look abysmal, you’re correct.
BTW I’m trying to setup Adsense on my site too (our numbers are unfortunately nowhere as good as yours), but I’ve been facing an issue: The ads show up on phones perfectly fine (even in “Desktop View” mode), but the same html elements have been showing up complete blank when opened on Desktop.
Any idea what might me causing this? You’d save me a TON of headache honestly if you could.
Hi p,
I wonder if you are comparing the estimated revenue with the revenue of this month, if so, estimated number only gives you prediction based on current ad performance, and it is finalized at the end of next month
