Wanted to reach out to see if anyone had experienced issues getting their app deployed on the google play store. Specifically, I’m experiencing the same issue for two of my apps where the app name in the build file is not what it should be, therefore they think I’m trying to sneak one past the users. The app name isn’t something I’m familiar with but I figured I’d post it here to see if anyone had experienced the same issue. Bubble Support says no one else has reported it so if you have, let me know so I can provide them with some additional context.
The App Name in Bubble Settings and Google Play Settings is TardySweep. But the app name reflected when installed on a user’s device is “glide-awebp” and is the same thing for both apps that I’ve submitted to Google Play through Bubble.
It’s just a PNG. I can email it to you if you’d like! I had a friend with an Android phone install my most recent build that was deployed yesterday just as a test user and it’s still showing as that app name.
@nick.carroll Support mentioned trying to change the file to a different file type and republish. I’ve tried PNG, JPG, SVG downloaded and uploaded both from Windows and Mac. All with the same result. Just wanted to give you a heads up on that.
