I have triggered a group focus to show when an element is clicked, however, when I click outside the group focus, it is not auto hiding. I just can’t seem to find any solution.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a bug. You should submit a bug report to Bubble.

UPDATE: Issue now fixed. Turns out I had an empty event in the workflow that seemed to cause it. Not sure why, but when I removed it, it started working again.
