GSC Not Indexing Website ("No index" error)

I deployed my website in December. I submitted the sitemap to GSC and status is “successful”. The sitemap had 4-5 subpages. No page has been indexed. The homepage of the website was crawled but not indexed; I’m seeing that it’s “excluded by ‘noindex’ tag”. However, I haven’t messed with anything on Bubble and when I search the site code there is no “robots” or “noindex” in the code. I even tried re-submitting by clicking on “fix” - but seems like the error is persisting. I can’t find my website on Google…Please help!!

This is what I see in GSC

@biancapinasco15 Hey, This usually means Bubble is blocking indexing at the app or page level, even if you didn’t add a noindex tag yourself.

Check these in Bubble:

  • Settings → SEO / Metatags: make sure “This app is not indexed by search engines” is unchecked.
  • Settings → General: confirm the app is live and not hidden from search engines.
  • On your index page, check the page SEO settings and make sure “Hide page from search engines” is off.

After that, redeploy and request indexing again in Google Search Console. It may take some time, but this usually fixes it.

Check your bubble app’s SEO settings under Settings > General > Search engine indexing. sounds like you might have noindex turned on by default or there’s a page-level rule hiding it. also double-check your sitemap url in GSC actually matches what you submitted.

I’ve been focusing on getting steady, trustworthy backlinks, and using Best Link Building Services made a noticeable difference for me. The mix of guest posts and niche-specific links felt really natural, and having a manager to steer the whole thing saved me a ton of time. If you just want clean, white hat links without babysitting every step, it’s been a solid option in my experience.
