Has anyone created a drag-and-drop website builder before?

I’m looking for a website builder with a drag-and-drop feature, so users can create their own landing page or website. We’re willing to purchase it, something similar to the website builders of Kajabi, Systeme.io, or any other available website builders… Wanna get your template guys if you have

Hey @lyzasajot01 ,
Dropped you a message!

To be clear, you’re looking to make a website builder within a website builder? That seems like a challenge, I’m not sure if Bubble is the right tool for this. It’s definitely possible though

Well, Bubble is a great platform for users who have no coding experience to build an app.

But, I don’t think it’s ideal to build a website like I’m thinking you’re talking about.

You’re looking for a white label solution.

Myself, my first choice in building just a website is Duda.

They have a white label feature with a ton of options.

Also, they have dynamic data fields etc.

You can turn any website into a PWA with just a click.

I’m big into PWAs and prefer them over native apps for a number of reasons…personal choice I guess.

I think you should look into the white label solutions for what you’re considering?

Hi @lyzasajot01

Agree with both @jonah.deleseleuc and @senecadatabase

This is possible within bubble. I have built something similar. But Bubble might not be the best option. In fact, Nocode to build another NoCode might not be the best option.

You will have to handle lots of settings like white labeling, domain and DNS Settings. The database will become very heavy very fast pushing you onto the highest plan. Not to mention that there might be a few features which will be impossible to create because of NoCode limitations.

Hi, thank you for your insight, but what I’m thinking of is more like a drag-and-drop feature to build just a landing page website, not a typical app or anything like that. It would only need to add a few texts, images, videos, and some animations for the landing page. Do you think it’s possible?

Hi, actually, we’re a marketplace where people can sell their digital products and services simultaneously, but on their own landing page. As much as possible, we’d like them to be able to edit their landing page or checkout page with freedom, so they can customize the design to help with conversions and match their preferences.

Do you think this is possible? Or what alternative solution do you have in mind? I would love to hear your insight.

you will need to integrate something code-based on the frontend.
you may still rely on bubble for account system, billing and certain types of data storage. I am not sure if you should store all your customers’ websites’ metadata within bubble for

  1. Performance constraints
  2. Cost constraints (bubble will charge you money per each update)

Hi @animisha45 I find that interesting. Could you share a link to the project?

This is kind of my forte, i’ve created multiple, one even being full AI with ecom, split testing, drag and drop, hundreds of pre made templates, email drip support for form fills, a base CRM for form fills, external hosting w/ out the box load speeds of 90+ on lighthouse, funnels (similar to clickfunnels) with one click upsell/downsells, domain connection, and more.

All of my website building plugins are not publicly listed & require us to get on a call due to the complex nature of the setup and implementation costs start at $2k and go up to $15k depending on the builder choice & implementation requirements.

I also have the largest full drag and drop email builder on bubble. [UPDATED] Ultimate Email Plugin - Drag & Drop Email Builder, Bulk Sending, Merge Tags, Multi-lingual, Easier content, AI writing, and more!

If you’re looking for help on the website side feel free to reach out via private message and I can demo the various website builders and each of their pros and cons.

Hey @lyzasajot01

I’ve developed a platform for a client that’s a blend of Kajabi, Systeme.io, and Gumroad. It allows users to sell digital services and build their own funnels.

For the drag-and-drop website builder, I integrated Unlayer into our platform, and we’ve white-labeled those funnels using Coalais. While it might not be the most conventional approach, it works seamlessly for our users.

Feel free to DM me if you’d like a demo!

That is totally possible.

If I remember correctly you uploaded a canva ppt on one of your previous posts. Based on that feature, you can create the customisations in bubble.

Hi @incomdies We did a POC for the project I am talking about which was successful. As a full product, the end user would be able build a CRUD based application with it. A large amount of database and logics were custom code so they were discussing going the native route. Currently they are back to drawing board ro figure out how they want to move forward.

Sadly can’t share the link but will update you if I get an update on it though.

Hello,
Mine is not drag and drop website builder but I have created a platform using which creators can create digital stores like 1:1 meeting, webinar, digital ebook etc. Please let me know if you want to see that.

If anyone could do that, it would be Chris! Always figures out how to do weird or jank stuff on Bubble yet make it viable

I don’t think it’s a question of ‘can you do it on Bubble’

I think the main thing to consider is using platforms out there that already do what you want.

The source I gave is white label and allows users to log in under your name or whatever and create landing pages…shops, or whatever.

Don’t confuse effort with results.

Hello @lyzasajot01 ,
I hope you are doing great.

I understand you are looking for a website builder with drag-and-drop functionality, similar to platforms like Kajabi or Systeme.io, which allows users to create their own landing pages or websites.

I can assist you with this requirement. My experience includes working on projects involving drag-and-drop website builders, and I am familiar with the latest tools and platforms available for such needs.

Please let me know a convenient time to discuss your project in more detail so we can explore the best options for your needs.

Hi! May I have more information please?
