(Help) When page loaded first time show popup

Hi,

I’am working on a WebApp project but i’am stuck with building the dashboard. So when a new user registers it directs to the dashboard but then a popup must show to create a new workflow, this only needs to happen for 1 time to fill our the dashboard text’s etc… So what i want to achieve is when a new registered user gets redirected to the homepage a popup must show to create a new workflow only for the first time.

The way I’ve achieved this is to have a Yes/No field on the User record. This is default No. When the page loads, if the flag is No, then I redirect to a ‘first use’ page and set the flag to Yes (then it won’t show next time).
