Hide button, show different button in the same space (SOLVED)

The user clicks sign in

Once the user is signed in I hide the sign in button and show the user profile icon. I want to move the icon to occupy the same space as the sign up button that is hidden.

This is how it looks in the designer and I havnt been able to figure it out.
