How do i make a simple button workflow action that downloads a PDF from DB?

(Preferably not with an plugin)

I use Javascript to open it in the browser:

Ok, but how do i do that? There’s no “run javascript” action for me. I’m guessing there’s more to it that you’ve left out. I’m not an IT person sorry.

The Run Javascript action is part of the ToolBox plugin…

But if you just want to open the file in the browser you can just use the ‘Open External Website’ action.
