I was wondering if there was a specific domain that I need in order to make my native app only available via the app. The domain will have to refer to something other than a website I’m guessing. How should I go about doing this.
I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking. Bubble is for building web applications, everything lives at a domain.
I noticed that the app Qoins was built with bubble. I also noticed that the app cannot be found on the internet but strictly just in the app store. I’m curious as to how they did that? I have a native app that just got rejected from apple due to the fact that it was not sufficiently different from safari (apple rejection 4.2). I am now working to build it with more native app features. Any advise as to what features would be good to add in order for apple to see it sufficiently different?
Qoins was originally built on Bubble, but I believe it transitioned off the platform some time ago. To be clear, it is currently impossible to build a native app with Bubble. The closes you can do is build a web app contained in a wrapper of sorts, like Phonegap. The feedback from Apple is exactly what it says like it is: you built a web app, but you need to add native features. Some people have had luck by adding push notifications, such as OneSignal.
Awesome, we are actually working to install push notifications right now. That’s what I was thinking as well. Any other features you think would help? Thanks for the advise!
