How to add a number value after using the "+" sign

I am trying to add “1” to a value contained in one of my data types. I can select the generated info up to entering the number value. But I can’t figure out how to have it recognize that I am trying to add “1” to the current value. In the tutorials I have seen, it appears that they are on an older version of Bubble. How can I enter a number after the “+” sign and have it be apart of the formula?

You’ll have to activate the ‘Beta’ feature called Expression Parentheses.

You can find this on the editor’s Settings>Versions>Beta Features> Expression Parentheses.

I don’'t know why Bubble still classes this as a Beta feature. At this stage it definitely should be activated by default. It never caused me any problems

That fixed it. Thank you!
