How to create a new thing with data from a repeating group

Hi

i am trying to create a pop up to record new recipes.
the ingredients are drawn from the ingredients database. currently when an ingredient line is added i have created it as a new thing to display into the repeating group.
how can i save that data when creating the recipe card
