i see most elements have an option to hide or collapse a element in vertical height so it gets rid of white space but with a focu group element you cannot any workarounds

I suppose we don’t really need that option.
Consider this example…where we look at the responsive boxes that the debugger can show us.
We have a page with a group focus element, and a standard group. If the standard group does not have collapse when hidden ticked, you see it still occupies space, but with collapse ticked, it does not. However with the group focus, it does not occupy any space when hidden.
