How to remove the "time" in my date field, and how to change the date format?

Hi could anyone help please?

In App Data/Modify Existing Database Entry:
How do I remove the “time” in my date field?
Also, how do I change the date format to dd/Mmm/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy?
Data error

I understand that if I were to create a field while designing a page for user display or user input, I could change the date to be “formatted as:”, but I am not referring to that.

I am referring to data management section, and how to tweak the date and time settings from here. Would that be possible?
