How to sort or filter data of a repeating group from a different data source

Hey, I’m building a very basic outreach list organiser/CRM.

As per the below attached image, I have a repeating group with brand data (name, emails, category, outreach status).

The outreach status dropdown is a different data source (search for User CRM Status).

Am I able to sort the repeating group by any of the ‘outreach status’s’? If so how?

Alternatively, if that’s a little complex, I’d be happy to utilise another dropdown for filtering, as I have done above the repeating group for the ‘category’. How do I filter the data in the repeating group from an ‘outreach status’ dropdown though if the data source is different to that of the repeating group?

Is it as simple as adding ‘filtered’ and then ‘advanced’ and finding the ‘CRM status’?

I hope this makes sense.

Did you solve it? I only found this video, but i’m trying to get another solution that don’t need to use a plugin or a workflow.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to solve it myself. Pretty sure it can be done just don’t know how.

I can potentially help you but I need some clarification.

Are you trying to display data in the repeating group of only certain type of CRM status? Like choosing “not interested” from a filter dropdown, and then displaying the matching data in the repeating group?
