How to use the Text Selection Plugin inside a rich text field only

I’m using this plugin to display a floating group when the user selects any text on the page:

Problem is, I don’t want to show the floating group when ANY text ANYWHERE on the page is selected. Can I set a condition to only display the floating group when the selected text is located inside a specific rich text input?
