In Live-Version Google API key not working

Hi,

I just deployed my app to live. I have one single search box that requires Google’s Cloud Service, its the “search box” implemented in bubble and its supposed to search for geographical places. I put my API Key from Google into the settings field, but it wont work. I activated the [Maps Embed API] and the [Geocoding API]. The API key for both is the same.

Can someone help me out here?

Try enabling the Places API as well.

Thanks for the response!

Unfortunately, its still not working.

Is it working in your app’s development version?

Do you have http referrers set up in the console?

Do you have a billing account linked to your project in the console?

Its neither working in development version nor in live version. But I think you have detected the problem. I haven’t set up a billing account. Probably that’s what causing the problem.
Thanks

I set up the billing account but it is still not working on both version, live and development. I have my http referrers I put the API key in the corresponding fields and as I said set up the billing account. Any idea whats causing that?

If you’re ok with posting your app’s editor link, I can jump in there and take a look. Might need some screenshots from your console too, or you can PM me so that I can get temp access.

Thanks, that super nice of you.

I actually figured it out. You were right. One API was missing… I think I first thought it wouldn’t work because the the API takes some time to “refresh”.
