I may be missing something obvious (again) but is there a reason why I cannot change the background of the dropdown to a completely flat colour without the odd highlight? Also, despite my inputs having the text/ initial content set to being white, on preview, it is permanently grey. I feel like I am missing something obvious…?
I am going to be replacing the dropdown with custom, more aesthetically pleasing dropdowns as this is just to get a functional app before diving into the theme/UI.
