We’ve developed a booking solution using Bubble for a Thai client. Thai characters like many far-east languages are complex. Bubble has no problem storing them. However, Bubble CANNOT sort by them. Before taking on any foreign client. Be sure to test this. How?
-Create a simple table with (ex. first name, last name, … ) and populate with something.
-Create a repeating group to show a list of records
-Set “do search for” to browse all and SORT BY either first or last name
-Preview it and the data will not show up in the list.
This is a confirmed bug that they will not fix (not a priority). So, fellow oversea developers beware.
The workaround is to set the repeating group to display all. Workable, but can be costly to your WU.
Hi @Suri.M Thanks for posting this tip. I clicked into the link you provided and can not find any demonstration on how to implement the tip, it looks like it is not a link to an app editor for this tip.
The link is included as part of my reply signature. It should show just a link, but Bubble forum always want to grab a thumbnail from my site and show in huge display. It’s quite distracting and confusing when I reply.
