Just some free usability feedback, it took a while to realize the leftside nav were steps in a process, and not a broken nav. Almost bailed after my clicks didn’t click. I’d suggest making the steps you haven’t complete look disabled, add numbers, or use the words steps/progress somewhere.

Canvas v1.1 updates:
Design updates to the homepage maker & index page. We’ve added the ability for app owners to:
- Customize the alignment of the main landing section (left justified or centered)
- Customize font colors and backgrounds (solid, gradient, or image) of the homepage blocks.

Added additional fields to the app settings tab in the owner’s portal:
- White favicon on mobile
- Open graph tags and SEO fields

It wouldn’t let me login, since my bubble login is through my google account
Hi @cheskiefisch, you can actually just create a new account for Canvas using the same email you use for your Bubble account. Let us know if that’s not the issue you’re having and we can help sort it out.

I created an app redeployme through canvas and canvas appended a “-to” to the name of the application. Now when I click on the link to open my app it doesn’t open. Any suggestions
Fantastic tool ! How to upgrade an app from version 1.0 to 1.1?
@hola1 - unfortunately there isn’t any automatic way to upgrade an existing app to version 1.1 at this point, it’s not something that Bubble allows. However, whenever you start a new app now, it will be version 1.1.
@donaldlh - the appending of the letters is normal, the app not opening is not. We’ve gotten a few reports of people seeing something similar, investigating and will get back to you.
Thanks @vlad - but if we can’t upgrade, then what types of changes this refers to “please note that we will not be able to push any future updates for the Canvas app to your app unless you add dev back as a collaborator” ?
Hi @hola1, the future updates for the Canvas app are related to new canvas features that we will be launching in the next couple of months. An example of this will be the ability to update style colors. All of this is achieved by using custom automation that we’ve built and would require your app to have dev@airdev.co as a collaborator. Feel free to remove dev@airdev.co as a collaborator from your app. You can just add dev back when you want to try out those features in the future. Hope this help! 
Hey all - we’re currently investigating a bug which is preventing some Canvas copy requests from going through. We’ll post here when that bug is resolved.

@vlad Hi. This doesn’t work for me. I created the app on Canvas, but clicking the app didn’t show up on Bubble.
@socratinho10 What time did you attempt to copy the app? The Canvas copier should be working now, but it’s possible the same bug from earlier today is still occurring for some users.
I tried this morning (about 16 hours ago) right after I created the app, and then again about 2 hours ago. Clicking on the link just shows the apps I already have on Bubble.

@socratinho10 If you message me your email I can look into this. Since about 4 PM California time it has been working for all of our tests. Prior to 4 PM there were bugs (maybe since this morning?) that would have prevented it from working.

We’ve made another round of updates to the Canvas app and we’re excited to share it with everyone in the bubble community:
Canvas v1.2 updates:
Updated menu items (for desktop view) in the header
Added the ability to show/hide the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents in the footer or during sign up only
Brand new design updates to the portal page side menu. Added the ability for app owners to customize colors using @seanhoots’s Air Color Picker plugin (thank you again for creating this awesome plugin!) .
Checked “do not set cookies on new visitors by default” in app settings
- As of May 2018, creating cookies in bubble is an expensive operation that substantially slows down server response times.
- Cookies should NOT be set upon page load for any application. Cookies should be created either:
- After the page is loaded (if cookies need to be set immediately)
- When the first change to a user’s cookies is made (please see example below)

I created an airdev account.
Used the same email address to sign up as i did at bubble.is
In AirDev i created a new app with the “Add” button.
I see the app listed in airdev under “My Apps”.
I don’t see it in Bubble.is, I don’t see an edit option in AirDev.
How do I start editing it?

Troubleshooting this issue. It seems to be working only some of the time. Our main account has ~200 apps on it, which might be affecting this and causing some bugs.
Fixed the issue - was due to some updates to the canvas app that will affect a major update (hopefully later this week!).
Thank you for the report! The canvas generator was down since last night but is now back up.
