Maybe it can be some additional checkbox or split the inputs for subdomain input, domain-name input and domain zone input
Zelus, hi, Happy New Year and Christmas! I wish you new success in the new year 2023! I wrote to you in DM, I don’t know if you received them. There are ideas for improving the functionality of the plugin. Maybe I didn’t send the DM correctly, that’s why I’m writing here
Is TheirLabel not around anymore? Are there any alternatives that do the same thing? Thanks
Hey Tom! Bubble is upgrading their plugin API and is requiring all plugins update to it by March 12th. I still need to update TheirLabel to accommodate this and as a result, it is temporarily not available in the Bubble marketplace. That said, I intend on updating it in the next 14 days so that is relisted. Note - any app currently using TheirLabel still has access to it and will be able to update it easily when the upgrade is made available. Thank you!
Hi zelus, this is exciting news! I really look forward to seeing it in the next 14 days as this is exactly what I have been looking for! Is the website theirlabel.com down for the time being as well?
Thanks
Hey Tom, TheirLabel has been updated to Bubble’s API Version4 and is back on the marketplace! And our site is back up as well Let me know how it goes! Thank you,
Thats awesome, I will definitely check it out now and probably will eventually use it in my project im working on!
Nice work!
Thanks for fixing the plugin.
I am not able to login using TheirLabel on safari (macbook) or chrome (latest version that disables third party cookies). Do you have a fix for that?
Hey Kim,
It’s come to my attention that TheirLabel, due to it’s reliance on third party cookies for iframed authentication, will progressively fail for more and more users as Google disables cookies throughout this year.
As has always been a disclosed limitation of this plugin, iframing is the principle way we whitelabel a Bubble app. As such, updating TheirLabel to continue working after Google’s cookie phase out would require a total rethink and rebuild of the solution. Since this is not an undertaking we’re in a position to pursue, principally because there are solutions available in the form of coalias.com (which we haven’t used but have heard good reviews for), we will be retiring TheirLabel from the plugin store.
I know this is not the news you would have preferred to hear, but announcing this now will give TheirLabel users time to switch solutions before Google completes their phase out of 3rd party cookies. Existing plugin users will be able to continue using TheirLabel but may experience issues as the phase out progresses. As a result, I’m also working with Bubble to notify all TheirLabel users of this notice of plugin deprecation (since we are not provided a list of our customer’s contact information and rely on Bubble for outreach in these circumstances).
As this moment shows, the internet is a constantly changing substrate. We’ll do the best we can to help our customers make the transition they need.
Hi everyone,
I’m trying out TheirLabel plugin in order to provide custom domains to my users.
There is an issue with the first step of the workflow, when running the “TheirLabel provision white label”. This step does not return any data, we just get an internal server error 500.
Does anyone know what could be wrong? There is basically nothing wrong from our end, since this step simply gets a domain name as an input and nothing else (via the TheirLabel Validate element).
Here is how it looks
and here is the error:
Thankful for any kind of input.
FYI, @nemanja.rilakovic… I merged your new topic into the existing thread for the plugin, and you will definitely want to check out the post directly above yours.
Thank you! Now I see that TheirLabel is retiring from the plugin store.
Would be a good idea to put that message in the plugin description or just remove the plugin, so people won’t need to struggle trying to solve unsolvable problems!
Anyways thanks for the help! We will go on an try out the Coalias solution instead!
Hi @zelus_pudding I’ve followed your instructions step by step from your documentation, but I’m a bit confused as to why I can’t record the site_id in my database, and my custom domain isn’t working even though I’ve set up the DNS and waited for it to propagate.
any guide on this matter? thankyouu
Hi mike, wondering if you find any solution for this? I got same issue as you.
Hey there SontreID, please my prior post here.
TheirLabel was removed from the Bubble marketplace. I’m not sure why you were able to install it and am reaching out to Bubble to re-delist it. Sorry for the bother
