Is limiting image size worth the $ or speed?

Maybe your experience can help us all out…

On an image heavy app, do you think it is worth selecting the “limit image size” option on your image uploaders?

I currently have it selected on my app and the pictures are not of the best of quality due to this.
If I unselect it, will it slow the app down (using bubble for image storage) or cost more in workload units?

If you use limit image size and display the images higher than 800x600 resolution, the images will look really bad. And for an image heavy app, it wouldn’t be a good solution. Maybe you can try 3rd party image compressor services like TinyJPG. It has a fair pricing and easy to use.
