Launching backend workflow every 1st of month

Dear Bubblers,

please what is the best practice to launching backend workflow every 1st day of month?

Thank you so much

Petr

You can do a recurring backend workflow that recurrs 1 month

You have a backend workflow set up to run

This might not be exactly what you are looking for though as you want it the 1st day of the month.

Does it matter to you which 1st day of the month? A user in Los Angeles will have a different timezone than a user in Hong Kong, so it would come in differently.

What is the overall goal you are trying to achieve? How is it supposed to be triggered? What is the backend workflow supposed to do and for which users or is it for the app owner?

Thank you so much, I mean it’s perfect solution.
Use case is: generating billing lists for app users.

Hey @boston85719
Can you help me? I Don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Im trying to buid a point system where the customer gets charged every month and the corresponding points are added to his account.
At the moment I’ve set the frecuency to daily just for testing purposes and the start date is yesterday so I can check if its working or not.

I’m not really sure exactly what is the issue here. It would be something we could cover in a 1:1 coaching session.

Feel free to send me a PM for more details.

I’m looking to do something similar in my app. I want to set a monthly recurring event. To test this I’d have to wait a month however that’s unconventional. My personal plan doesn’t allow for daily occurrences. Can you confirm that the development backend does allow for testing daily frequencies on recurring events even if I don’t have the proper membership to go live. I am currently using a personal membership.
