Learning Javascript to create Bubble Plugins

In the Building Plugins section, the Bubble manual states: “While adding API connections does not require coding skills (but a good understanding of REST API mechanisms), adding elements and actions requires Javascript coding skills.”

Does anyone have insights on what level of Javascript coding skills and particular topics within Javascript are required? I think it would be great to learn Javascript solely for the purpose of building Bubble plugins.

My personal suggestion is: Learn fundamental HTML, CSS and JS through a course then start building something needed by you or someone else and from there on: learning as you need.

Just don’t be afraid to tinker, research and debug stuff.

It’s a fun thing to do!
