Location to Input User Field Button

Hi!

I would like to press a button on my app and GPS will locate me from my mobile device, and put my location as a pin on the Goggle Map another user’s screen. This will be for people I connect with to see where I am, so something may also need to be input into my current address user fields?

If possible, any guidance, links, or good keywords to google for Youtube videos would be most appreciated!

Basically, I have two kinds of users. Regular Users and Vendors. I need the Vendors to be able to turn their location on and off and have that data passed to google maps to direct Users to the Vendor. I have Google geolocation and Maps plugins’ installed. I’m just unsure of what I need to do on the backend. Any assistance would be fantastic.

Sharing the current location of the user

Hi everyone I need to put a field for my user to share his current location so it can be viewed by another user, I want it to be very simple and basic. the user will click a button and his current location will be stored in the database, as simple as that. Big Thanks in advance!!

Chrome - Get Current Geographic Position on non-SSL sites

Just a heads up that Bubble’s “Current Geographic Position” won’t be populated if you have a non HTTPS (SSL) site in Chrome. I also suspect that other Browsers will do similar things (having done some fairly unscientific testing on BrowserStack). Google removed the ability to get the location on “non secure” sites so it won’t be populated. Note that you may not get any request for location sharing in your browser in this case, the bubble field will just be blank, so it might be worth checking…
