Mail client can't open on MAC OS

Hello!
I have the following problem. I created a “Email Me” link using the “Link” element. Screenshot below.

When I click on this link on the windows operating system, the email client opens. But on the MAC operating system, nothing happens when you click on the link. How do I get this to work on MAC operating system computers?
