Would like to suggest a feature that would push elements down by the size of an incoming to-be-dropped element on the Editor, so whenever you decide to add an element between 2 elements you dont have to select all subsequent elements and re-position to make place for a new element.
Place a hidden group between them with the collapse when hidden rule checked, then have a when group is hovered show group action? I will admit i have not tried this just a thought.
I think @cheskiefisch is talking about in the editor. If you want to add a new group or new element in the middle of the page, you have to manually move everything else down. I think the suggestion is to do something like the other web-based editors do and let you drop a “container” that pushes everything else down automatically, giving you space to work without needing to manually rearrange everything.
Ah i see, i hope not personally its one of the things i like about the bubble editor over others… would hate to know that i would have to lock or hide elements to continue to layer groups in a single page scenario.
Not neccessarily, i think we can have both worlds…
