I authorized the Ai agent to make changes to a particular data type privacy rules, the edit failed. However, the data type was completed deleted now my app shows 49 issues!!! WTH.
If you go to data types and click ‘Show deleted types’, can you see the type and restore it?
Additionally, you can go to the ‘History’ tab in your editor’s version control menu, and restore to any point in time where the data type exists

I can’t find it there. It disappeared without a trace or warning
I am on the free plan. It’s not possible to have save points on free plan
I believe that even the free plan allows you to restore to a point in time in the last 24 hours
I tried using that. But it didn’t work either. Looks like the data type restore only affects currently existing data type fields. Apparently the deleted data isn’t even listed among the data type when asked to pick a data type to restore.
I tried selecting all data types and restoring to 3hrs earlier. But it didn’t work
Please file a bug report and the success team should be able to restore this deleted type. If you let me know the email address on your bubble account (via dm) I can have the support request expedited given the sensitive nature of this issue
Hi Nick, thanks for reaching out. I filed a report and waited for close to 48 hours without a fix, so I decided to recreate the Data type and all the fields again and fixed all the broken workflows one after the other. Everything is okay now. Thank you
Yes, it’s usually better to solve it by yourself (or with help from someone here on the forum) than to wait for Bubble support, which is well known for being terrible.
I always say that my biggest fear is that a serious problem, like yours for example, will happen, and I’ll have to depend on support to help me.
