Multiple index pages

Hello People,

How do you maintain multiple ‘index’ pages in Bubble? I don’t mean publishing them all at the same time but rather having the flexibility to change one with the other, for example, to reflect the change in season.

I know I can clone my current index page, so does that mean I need to:

  1. Clone it
  2. Delete content from current index page
  3. copy & paste new content into index page?

Or, is there a better way?

Thank you!

Could be, I do the same, clone a page, and continue creating for different purposes…

It would really help us here if you share your Why, the reason of doing so?

Example, I have cloned recently a page to demonstrate to Bubble support one detail of my “new feature” that doesn’t work well, while in the meantime having original page to be “Live”.

I’d suggest having your index page made up of reusable elements (or maybe just the hero section if that’s what you want to change seasonally).

Then you can just swap out reusables depending on what you want to show at the time.

You could also create a datatype that populates the hero section with text, image/vid and colour schemes dynamically so you can update this without needing to do a deploy.

I have two index pages and both are ready to go. I’d prefer a simple swap , one for the other.

That’s not what you asked.

If you have 2 ready to go you could just rename the page you want to be the actual index page to index, then rename them both again when you want to swap.

I stated “I don’t mean publishing them all at the same time but rather having the flexibility to change one with the other”

Your latter point is what you would assume to be the easiest but Bubble will not allow me to do this for some strange reason :frowning:

I wasn’t sure they would.

Refer to my first suggestion for the ‘easiest’ way to manage frequent changes to your index page.

FOUND IT! Actually there is a little area where you can left click within toward the left of the page to make it new index page…
