I’m trying to utilize the Multiselect dropdown feature created by Bubble but unfortunately cannot figure out a way for it to let users add new items when searching my database. For example, if the option is not there, I would like them to be able to add their own option.

Hi Johnny, I appreciate the tip. But this does not work when you select dynamic list. This only works on static list.
Ah, yeah you’re right. If you have a dynamic list, then it doesn’t appear. However, you could create a text or something below that which opens a collapsed menu that allows you to create a new entry?
I’m not certain I know what you mean. You mean a conditional if the text isn’t found in the multidrop then it transitions into a text input with a collapsable menu? How would that work to layer a multidrop and text input like that?
Do you recommend I write in to Bubble to see if they can add this functionality since it seems pretty straight forward and should be included?
If you want to write to Bubble you can, but it’ll probably not get implemented because they have higher priorities and initiatives in the works.
