Multiselect Tag Plugin/UI Component that lets user add new item to database

Looking for a plugin or pre-built-component that lets the user select tags from a pre-determined list, by type & search (Like the multiselect element) but with an option for the user to add new items which was not in the list previously (And it should also be added to the list in the database).

And same idea for a single-select dropdown

I am currently using the Selectize Dropdown plugin, quite a great option, it does that exactly and more. Its not the easiest to set up though, but has a great documentation and edior page.
